Egyptian spy chief seeks Mid East truce

The Egyptian intelligence chief, who is trying to broker a Mideast truce, held talks with Palestinian leaders today, and officials said success depends largely on Israel’s willingness to halt military operations.

Omar Suleiman also met the head of Israel’s Mossad spy agency in Jerusalem, Egyptian officials said.
