'Dead' toddler found breathing
A 20-month-old girl who was pronounced dead at a hospital in California has been revived hours later, after a police investigator later noticed her breathing.
The toddler's mother discovered her face down in the family swimming pool on Friday morning.
The girl was rushed a hospital, but pronounced dead about an hour later, said Fullerton police Sgt. Ron Gillett.
A police investigator alone in the hospital room taking photographs of the girl's body saw some movement and noticed her breathing, Gillett said.
Medical staff then fully revived the child.
The toddler has been transferred to another hospital, where she is said to be in a critical condition, a hospital spokeswoman said.
