Box cutters found on board US aircraft

Box cutters – the type of weapon used by the September 11 hijackers – have been found aboard two aeroplanes in America, it emerged today.

Passengers were evacuated from a US Airways jet at Philadelphia International Airport yesterday after a retractable blade was found in a seat pouch.
