Plot to assassinate Putin foiled say reports

Two men were arrested by police in London over a suspected plot to kill Russian President Vladimir Putin, say reports.

The Russian nationals, said to be renegade intelligence officers, were planning to have Mr Putin shot while on a foreign trip, according to the Sunday Times.
