We have right to defend ourselves - Syria

Syria has the right to defend itself if Israel continues to violate its territories, Syria’s new foreign ministry spokeswoman said today.

Bushra Kanafani also said relations between Syria and the United States were deteriorating because of America’s support of Israel and its claims that Israel was defending itself when it attacked an area near Damascus last Sunday.
