Guerillas 'prepared to consider hostage exchange'

Colombian guerrillas have said they would be prepared to consider an exchange of seven hostages for rebels held in prison, it was reported today.

A senior commander in the leftist National Liberation Army (ELN) said it would consider such a deal to release the tourists, who were kidnapped more than three weeks ago in northern Colombia.
