Swedes hold another man in Lindh murder probe
Swedish police have arrested another suspect in the murder of Foreign Minister Anna Lindh, and released a man they had held in custody for more than a week.
Lead investigator Agneta Blidberg said in Stockholm that the new suspect was arrested today. She gave no further details.
The previous suspect, arrested last Tuesday, resembled the man caught on video in the shop where Lindh was murdered. He was arrested outside a restaurant in the Swedish capital.
His lawyer, Gunnar Falk, said the man, whom police never identified, proclaimed no involvement in Lindh’s stabbing in a crowded department store on September 10.
