Soham policeman in court on conspiracy charge

A British detective who worked as a family liaison officer on the Soham murder inquiry and a British Crown Prosecution Service administrator have appeared in court accused of conspiring to pervert the course of justice.

Brian Stevens, 42, and Louise Austin, 32, spoke only to confirm their personal details during a brief hearing at Luton Crown Court.
