Hoon to face second Kelly grilling

UK Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon will be called back to give evidence under cross-examination to the Hutton Inquiry next Monday.

UK Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon will be called back to give evidence under cross-examination to the Hutton Inquiry next Monday.

Several other key players will also reappear before the inquiry into the death of British government scientist Dr David Kelly.

They include former Downing Street communications chief Alastair Campbell, BBC reporter Andrew Gilligan, Richard Sambrook, director of BBC News, and Gavyn Davies, the chairman of the corporation's governors.

Other witness to be recalled include senior UK Ministry of Defence officials Sir Kevin Tebbit, the permanent secretary, UK MoD communications director Pam Teare, Richard Hatfield, personnel director at the MoD, and Martin Howard, deputy chief of British Defence Intelligence.
