Arafat accepts Abbas resignation

Yasser Arafat told Palestinian legislators today he has accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas.

In comments to more than 80 politicians, Arafat said he accepted the resignation tendered earlier by Abbas.
