Suspected militant killed in Israeli raid

Blasts shook a building in the West Bank city of Nablus as Israeli troops killed at least one suspected militant in a siege of the building early today, witnesses said.

Troops were ambushed during an arrest raid, with Palestinians opening fire and throwing hand grenades, military sources said. Witnesses said amid the shooting they heard four large blasts that tore into the five-storey building.
