Hurricane heading for Bermuda
A 135 mph hurricane was heading for Bermuda tonight.
In mid afternoon Hurricane Fabian was about 700 miles south of the British crown colony and was moving at about 10 mph.
The Bermudan Weather Service was expected to issue a hurricane watch.
Jack Beven, a specialist at the U National Hurricane Centre in Miami, said Fabian was expected to pass west of Bermuda by Friday or Saturday, and could possibly strike the islands directly.
