Intelligence officials expressed concern that evidence in the British government’s dossier on Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction was “over-egged”, the Hutton Inquiry was told today.

Brian Jones, a retired official from Britain's Defence Intelligence Staff, said that there had been concerns that some of the statements in the dossier about Iraq’s ability to produce chemical weapons had been too strong.
