A powerful Shiite member of Iraq’s US-picked Governing Council raged against the occupation of the country during a eulogy at the funeral of his murdered brother attended by almost half a million people today.

Abdel-Aziz al-Hakim demanded that American forces leave Iraq and blamed them for the lax security that allowed the assassination of Ayatollah Mohammed Baqir al-Hakim in the bomb blast that killed more than 120 outside a mosque last week.
