A cruise liner with at least 322 sick passengers and crew is due to dock in New York after cutting its voyage short by two days.

Officials with the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention said an outbreak of the Norwalk-type of virus had occurred on the Regal Princess, which was bound for New York from Copenhagen on a 16 day trip.
