Tensions high as cortege approaches Najaf

Iraqi security guards have taken control of Najaf as the cortege of the dead Shia cleric Ayatollah Muhammad Baqr al-Hakim makes its final approach to the holy city.

Tens of thousands of people are lining the route to pay tribute to the Ayatollah, who died, along with at least 80 others, in a car bomb blast in the city on Friday.
