Dutch chemists to supply government cannabis

Dutch chemists were supplied with government-tested, medicinal cannabis today, as the Netherlands legalises the supply of the drug to thousands of patients suffering from symptoms related to cancer, Aids or multiple sclerosis.

Around 7,000 patients will be eligible for prescription marijuana, sold in containers of five grams at most pharmacies.
