Indian police today arrested two men and a woman and charged them with the twin terrorist bombings that killed 52 people in Bombay last week.

Chief police prosecutor MR Raut, said the three suspects were arrested under India's tough anti-terrorism law and would appear in court later today.

The three also have been charged with conspiring and planting a bomb in the parking lot of the Gateway of India and illegally possessing explosives, Raut said.

He declined to name the suspects, who could face the death penalty if found guilty.
