Disgruntled US worker goes on gun rampage

A man on the verge of being sacked opened fire at an car parts warehouse in Chicago today.

Seven people including the gunman were shot, and at least two were killed.

“A disgruntled employee who had either been terminated or was going to be terminated returned to the business, and that’s where the shooting took place,” said police spokesman Pat Camden.

Camden said the police and the man exchanged gunfire inside and outside the building.

Police tried to negotiate with the man but he refused.
