An Ohio factory worker who opened fire, killing himself and a colleague, had just learned he had cancer, and was then denied a holiday because he filled out a form wrongly, police said today.

An Ohio factory worker who opened fire, killing himself and a colleague, had just learned he had cancer, and was then denied a holiday because he filled out a form wrongly, police said today.

The gunman’s mother said her son, Ricky Shadle, 32, had a learning disability and always needed help filling out forms at the plant.
