Suicide bomber blows himself up on Jerusalem bus

A suicide bomber blew himself up on a bus packed with Jewish worshippers returning from the Western Wall in Jerusalem, killing at least 18 people, including five children.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad both claimed responsibility for the blast yesterday, one of the deadliest Palestinian attacks in the past three years.
