People smugglers jailed in Belgium

An Austrian man and a Belgian truck driver were jailed for two years today for smuggling 30 illegal immigrants to Britain.

Peter Erkhoff helped Bektas Soysuren, a Turkish-born Belgian, take illegal aliens to Britain in his truck, the court heard.
