Kelly inquiry hears his voice on tape

The voice of weapons expert David Kelly was heard for the first time today by the inquiry investigating his death as a tape was played of a conversation he had with a BBC journalist.

In the tape, Dr Kelly dismissed comments on Iraq’s weapons capabilities made by British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw and US President George Bush as “spin”.
