Israel cancels release of prisoners after bombings

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon delayed the release of dozens of Palestinian prisoners set for today after two suicide bombings killed two Israelis and wounded a dozen, senior government sources said.

A bus carrying the prisoners had earlier left a prison in northern Israel headed for a West Bank checkpoint where they were due to be freed later today.
