Kelly inquiry: BBC reporter to give evidence

The BBC journalist at the centre of the row over alleged British government exaggeration of the case for war on Iraq was giving evidence today to the Hutton Inquiry into the death of weapons expert David Kelly.

Defence correspondent Andrew Gilligan was expected to provide crucial evidence to British law lord Hutton about events in the weeks before Dr Kelly’s apparent suicide on July 17.
