US soldier killed in Iraqi bomb attack

An American soldier was killed and two others were wounded in a bomb attack on a police station in the northern Iraqi town of Baqouba, the US military said today.

Maj Mark Solomons said a home-made bomb went off late yesterday in front of the Baquoba police station, which the soldiers were guarding.
