Israelis and Palestinians exchange fire at refugee camp
Israeli soldiers fired a missile at a building in a Palestinian refugee camp next to Nablus early today, causing several explosions, military sources said. It was not immediately known how many casualties were caused by the blasts.
The sources said Israeli forces entered the Askar refugee camp at 4.30am local time (2.30am Irish time) to arrest suspects, and the soldiers came under fire from Palestinians. The Israelis returned the fire, aiming an anti-tank missile at the third floor of a building in the camp.
