Man found guilty of Bali bombing
An Indonesian court has found a man guilty of the deadly nightclub bombings on the island of Bali last year.
Amrozi bin Nurhasyim was found guilty in the Denpasar Court. Amrozi shouted 'God is great' six times in the court after the verdict was announced.
Dubbed the âsmiling bomberâ, he is one of about three dozen alleged members of the al-Qaida-linked Southeast Asian extremist group, Jemaah Islamiyah, which is blamed for the October 12 blasts that killed 202 people.
He now faces the death penalty for his crimes.
The verdict comes just days after a copycat blast ripped through a hotel in the capital Jakarta.
