Car bomb reported in Tel Aviv

Rescue workers have reported a car explosion in Tel Aviv with some wounded.

Police believe the car bomb is not a terrorist attack.

Rescue workers said one person was critically wounded and two people were lightly wounded.

“It is not a terrorist attack,” said Tel Aviv police spokeswoman Slomit Holtzberg. “We know the people involved.”

Israeli underworld characters have tried to kill each other in the past.

On June 30, a car bomb wounded an alleged gangland figure in Tel Aviv.
