China expected to host Korea nuclear talks next month

China is willing to host the US proposed six-nation talks on North Korea’s suspected nuclear weapons programme “as soon as possible.”

Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan said China wants to solve the issue peacefully through dialogue, adding that it “has done a lot of effective work to realise this goal,” including contacting high-level officials from relevant parties.
