Sharon: Implementation of peace road map beginning

The implementation of the first phase of the road map peace plan is beginning, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said today, hours after returning from talks at the White House.

He said that the following stages of the plan could be implemented only when the first stage, including a “total cessation of violence,” is completed.
