Viagra and cash found on Saddam's sons' bodies

A stash of Viagra, a condom and £60m (€84.9m) in cash were found with the bodies of Uday and Qusay Hussein, it was reported today.

American troops discovered a briefcase stuffed with the sex aids, numerous bottles of cologne, dress shirts and a silk tie in the northern Iraqi home where Saddam’s sons were killed last week

Two women’s purses were also found near the bodies following the gun battle with US forces, according to Newsweek.

The brothers had a huge pile of money in US dollars and Iraqi dinars with them, worth three times the £20m (€28.3m) bounty the US put on their heads.

American officials are not sure if the men were financing a guerrilla war against British and US forces or concerned with saving their own lives.

The US reward is expected to go to Nawaf al-Zaidan, the Iraqi tribal leader who owned the villa in Mosul where the men were hiding.
