Japan hit by strong earthquake

An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter Scale has hit Japan, injuring at least 14 people.

A number of others are feared buried after the strong tremor hit the north-east of the country.

It has caused a number of landslides and loss of power to over 100,000 homes.
