Americans arrest 10 of Saddam's personal guard
The American military say they have captured up to 10 members of Saddam Hussein's personal security guard in a house south of his hometown, Tikrit.
The soldiers were acting on a tip-off from an informant.
Major General Ray Odierno is confident the hunt for the deposed leader is coming to an end: "We continue to tighten the noose and we continue to get more and more information about where he might be."
