Soldiers wounded in ambush

A coalition convoy was ambushed in south-eastern Afghanistan, injuring two coalition troops and an Afghan soldier, the US military said today.

The attack occurred north of Orgun in Paktika province yesterday, said a statement from the US military headquarters at Bagram Air Base, north of the capital Kabul.
