Life's a beach for Parisians

Parisians who have to spend their summer in the French capital will nonetheless have a chance to stroll on the sand and relax under palm trees in deck chairs.

Paris is getting a beach. A near two mile stretch of road along the Seine River is being closed off to traffic and transformed into a sandy shore.
