BBC journalist Andrew Gilligan was today accused of changing his story about Alistair Campbell's involvement in drawing up a British government dossier on Iraq by MPs.

BBC journalist Andrew Gilligan was today accused of changing his story about Alistair Campbell's involvement in drawing up a British government dossier on Iraq by MPs.

Mr Gilligan was described as "an unsatisfactory witness"' after giving evidence to the Commons Foreign Affairs Select Committee.

Committee chairman Donald Anderson said: "Mr Gilligan clearly changed his mind in the course of the evidence, in particular in relation to serious allegations concerning Mr Campbell."
