Mosquito-borne disease kills 110

A mosquito-borne disease, encephalitis, has killed 110 children in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh during the past six weeks.

In all, the disease has affected at least 196 children across Andhra Pradesh, said P Laxmi Rajyam, the state’s director of health services.
