Bush: Any US deployment in Liberia would be limited

Any deployment of US peacekeepers in Liberia would be limited in size and duration, President Bush has told UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

The US president has yet to decide whether to bow to international appeals to send troops to the war-torn West African nation.
