Wrong-way scouser pigeon makes it to US

A homing pigeon has become a star in the United States after completing a 3,321 mile journey across the Atlantic, it emerged today.

Billy, from Bootle, in Merseyside, was expected to arrive home seven hours after being released from Fougeres in France, on June 6.
