Diver killed saving trapped whale

Thirty tourists watched in horror today as a New Zealand diver was struck and killed by a whale he was trying to free from a fishing line.

The 38-year-old father of three was trying to cut the line away from the 35ft humpback whale when it lifted its tail and hit him.
