Explosives found on Italian plane

Police found explosives on a plane waiting to board passengers for a domestic flight at an airport in eastern Italy, an emergency services official said.

The explosives were found on an Alitalia plane that had arrived in the eastern city of Ancona from Rome, and had been scheduled to fly back yesterday.
