Ian Huntley in hospital
Soham murder suspect Ian Huntley was admitted to hospital today after a “serious self-harm incident”, sources said.
Britain's Prison Service said a prisoner from HMP Woodhill was taken to hospital earlier today.
He was named by sources as Huntley, the man accused of the murder of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.
A British Prison Service spokesman said: ``A prisoner from HMP Woodhill has been admitted to hospital following a serious incident of self-harm.''
He was taken from the prison near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, earlier today and was being treated in an outside hospital, officials said. He is considered to be in a "life-threatening" condition according to Sky News.
A Prison Service official refused to confirm his identity, age or the extent of his injuries.
