Strike to close ancient sites

Museums and archaeological sites across Greece, including the 2,500-year-old Parthenon, will be closed to visitors on Sunday after Culture Ministry employees today announced a 24-hour strike.

The workers are demanding contract renewals for seasonal workers and a pay bonus they say was promised to them, union leaders said.
