Israeli cabinet considering US-backed 'road map'

The Israeli cabinet is meeting to decide whether to approve the decision by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to accept the Middle East peace plan known as the 'road map'.

A number of ministers from two extreme right wing parties have already threatened to oppose the proposals.
