England and Wales to increase water flouridation

Health authorities are to get powers to dramatically increase the fluoridation of drinking water in England and Wales.

Amendments to the British Water Bill to be introduced later this month would shift responsibility for deciding to treat water away from water companies to regional strategic health authorities.
