Dead boy 'tried to grab British soldier's rifle

An Iraqi boy reportedly shot dead at close range by a British soldier may have tried to grab the weapon just before it was discharged, eye witnesses said.

The 14-year-old boy was spotted laughing with the soldier prior to the incident near a school used by troops from the Queen’s Dragoon Guards in Iraq’s second city of Basra.
