Two Iraqis die in attack on US base

Two Iraqis were killed in attacks on US tactical command centres in the tense northern city of Mosul tonight, and a newly established information centre was evacuated after it came under fire.

In one instance, US forces shot a man who tried to ram into a battalion command centre in the northwestern part of the city, according to military reports.
