Student shoots teacher, then kills self

A student shot his head teacher at a school in Pennsylvania early today and then killed himself, officials said.

The shooting happened at the Red Lion Junior High School, about 30 miles south-east of the town of Harrisburg.

The condition of the headteacher, who was rushed to hospital, was not clear. Officials did not immediately know how old the student was.
