Saddam's half-brother caught

US Special Forces have captured Saddam Hussein's half-brother Barzan Ibrahim al-Tikriti, Central Command says.

Al-Tikriti was arrested in Baghdad after a tip-off, Centcom said.

Speaking from CentCom, Brigadier General Vincent Brooks said al-Tikriti was number 38 of the 52 members of the regime published on a pack of cards that the Americans wanted dead or alive.

"He was an adviser to Saddam Hussein," Brooks said.

"We believe he's an insider.What role he has we will see when he is questioned and we believe there may be some additional information that comes about how the regime works."
